We are seeking a Functional Tester who will participate in the test automation technology development and understands best practice models. The Functional Tester creates (writing code) and executes automated test suites using industry standard COTS and other custom tools. In this role, you will be working with the users, business analysts, product managers, and developers focusing on establishing functional tests as automated steps first and foremost. Furthermore, we are focusing on having QA be left-shifted as much as possible, which will include that all software developers rely on automation guidance and test plans for improved development outcome in establishing test-driven unit tests for baseline testing as well.
Principal Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and scripts to test the functionality of AEM websites.
- Expertise in Adobe Experience Manager, especially in testing the AEM implementation.
- AEM with Automation QA experience will be highly preferred.
- In depth, functional, regression testing of new or enhanced features in the AEM environment.
- Work closely with team to coordinate test efforts, analyze reported bugs and consolidate test status.
- Must have worked on at least 2-3 large AEM projects as a quality assurance engineer.
- Hands-on experience in authoring and validating on publishers and dispatchers in AEM to assist with bug-fixes during the testing phase and to provide support for production launches.
- Performs quality audits across the various functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.
- Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
- Collects and analyses data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrates them into business process to address the business needs.
- Deliver quality process trainings to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advice or influence business or technical partners.
- Expertise in AEM- Forms, Sites, Assets and DAM.
- Expertise in AEM -Experience fragments and Content Fragment.
- Should be excellent in writing functional and technical documentation.
- Good knowledge of Agile methodologies, Jira and Workfront
- Must have strong analytical skills and should be detail oriented.
- Good communication, interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience in Test planning and defect management.
- Must have expertise with automation frameworks built on Java -Selenium.
- Must have experience in Cross browser, mobile device testing.
- Knowledge of building test automation pipeline using CI-CD tools like Jenkins.
- Ability to work independently, under tight deadlines and manage multiple task
Education
Bachelors or Advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant fields preferred
