For your awareness, IFF has announced its intention to sell its Food Ingredients Business to CVC Capital Partners. The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Food Ingredients business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to CVC Capital Partners. In applying for this position, you acknowledge your awareness that the position is a part of the Food Ingredients business unit and has been identified to transition to CVC Capital Partners.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

  • Design, develop, and implement functional testing and qualification processes that ensure product performance, quality, and reliability.
  • Lead qualification activities for new equipment, manufacturing systems, and production processes to support operational readiness.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, throughput, and cost performance.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Design teams to improve product manufacturability and support successful product launches.
  • Develop and execute validation protocols, test plans, and qualification documentation for manufacturing systems and processes.
  • Investigate process deviations, equipment failures, and quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Utilize data analysis and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize manufacturing operations.
  • Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process automation initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and company standards throughout all engineering and testing activities.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, test engineering, or a related industrial environment.
  • Experience developing, qualifying, and validating manufacturing equipment, systems, or production processes.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, root cause investigation, and problem-solving tools.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
