Summary

You will contribute to the full QA lifecycle, learn our products and the P&C domain, and play a key role in helping projects go live successfully and on time.
Job Description
What you’ll doParticipate in Guidewire or P&C insurance implementation projects, supporting QA activities from requirement analysis and test design through execution and sign-off.
Design, write, and maintain clear manual test cases and test scenarios based on functional and business requirements for core P&C processes (for example, policy, billing, claims).
Execute functional, integration, regression, and UAT support testing; document results and log defects with sufficient detail for resolution.
Collaborate closely with Functional and Technical Consultants, developers, and customer stakeholders to clarify requirements, ensure adequate test coverage, and track defects and retesting using tools such as Jira.
Contribute to test planning, estimations, and status reporting, highlighting risks and issues that may impact quality or timelines.
Follow and help improve QA standards, templates, and best practices to support consistent, efficient delivery across projects.

3–5 years of experience in QA functional testing of enterprise applications.
Exposure to P&C insurance domain.
Strong skills in writing and executing manual test cases and test scenarios from business and functional requirements.
Experience with defect and test management tools such as Jira (or similar), including logging, tracking, and retesting defects.
Solid understanding of SDLC and basic testing types (functional, integration, regression, UAT support).
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a distributed, cross-functional team.
Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Preferred
Experience on implementation or migration projects in a consulting / Professional Services or customer-facing environment.
Familiarity with cloud-based solutions or SaaS implementations.
Exposure to test automation tools or frameworks and interest in learning how automation and AI can reduce testing effort over time.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

In your first six months, you will support QA on one or more Guidewire implementation projects, learning the product, understanding customer business processes, and contributing to test design and execution. You’ll help ensure test coverage is sufficient, defects are well documented, and releases are delivered with confidence. Over time, you will grow your ownership of QA workstreams, become a go-to QA specialist on projects, and contribute ideas on how to use AI, tooling, and best practices to improve quality and efficiency across Professional Services.
