The Business Unit Tax & Accounting Software develops and sells products for tax and accounting professionals. Our BU offers a wide range of software solutions: ERP software; accounting, financial and tax advisory, and practice management software.
About the role
We are looking for a Functional Analyst to support the digital transformation of our Business Unit.
You will be part of a dynamic team of around 10 professionals located across various countries, collaborating closely to deliver impactful solutions.
What you´ll do
As a Functional Analyst, you play a key role in the transition of our software products. Your tasks and responsibilities include:
-Being part of an agile development team that values timely delivery of high-quality software
-Focusing on several existing and new products and being involved in new initiatives
-Learning the business jargon and building domain knowledge
-Getting to know our customers and understanding how our software helps them work more efficiently
-Building strong relationships with stakeholders to efficiently gather information
-Creating analysis models based on requirements
-Explaining analysis deliverables to the development team, supported by rationale for your choices
-Explaining technical limitations to business users and providing training for new applications and features
What you´ll bring
-Master’s level thinking or equivalent through experience
-Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
-Fluent in English and able to produce English documentation
-Knowledge of the accounting and tax domain is a plus
-Familiar with traditional analysis methodologies and able to apply them in an agile context
-Able to build a vision around documentation and analysis deliverables
-Understands the basics of testing and test automation
-Open and respectful communicator
-Proactive in communicating opportunities, risks, and issues to the Product Owner
-Handles business requirements thoroughly, listens to users, and analyzes their problems before proposing solutions
-Builds a set of methodologies, processes, and tools that can be standardized
-Understands software technicalities and limitations and can translate them to non-technical stakeholders
-Can concretize abstract tasks and is willing to take ownership of parts of a project
-Acts as the link between the Product Owner and the development team, and shares a winning team mentality
-Willing to support and mentor junior colleagues

Hybrid: This is a hybrid role, where you will spend at least eight days a month at our office, where you´ll enjoy the benefits of connecting and collaborating with your colleagues in person.
