Functional Analyst – Roxonn Platform

Roxonn is building a Decentralized Software Organization (DSO) on the XDC Network, leveraging the native ROXN token. Our platform connects businesses with global tech talent, streamlining software development through blockchain technology for enhanced transparency and fair compensation. We are initially focusing on rewarding GitHub contributions and are expanding to broader task-based payments and enterprise solutions. As part of the XDC - T-hub Accelerator program, we are poised for significant growth.

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Analyst with a strong aptitude for understanding, designing, and documenting complex business processes and system integrations, particularly within a platform leveraging blockchain and Web3 technologies. Drawing parallels from roles that manage intricate systems like Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), this position at Roxonn requires a meticulous approach to analyzing workflows, configuring business rules, and ensuring seamless integration across our decentralized platform components.

You will be instrumental in translating stakeholder needs into detailed functional specifications for the Roxonn platform, focusing on areas like automated reward distribution, bounty lifecycle management, governance processes, and integration with external systems like GitHub and the XDC Network. Your expertise will ensure the robustness, efficiency, and scalability of our platform's core processes.

Role: Functional Analyst – Roxonn Platform (Specializing in Process Automation & Integration) 
Location: Hyderabad (or Remote for exceptional candidates) 
Experience: 4 – 5 years (demonstrating experience with complex system analysis and configuration) 
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience (e.g., 12.0 LPA – ₹17.0 LPA, negotiable)

• Deep Process Analysis & Design:
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of Roxonn's core business processes, including contributor rewards, bounty management, token staking, governance mechanisms, and platform funding flows.
    
  • Design, document, and optimize complex workflows, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and alignment with blockchain principles (e.g., transparency, immutability).
    
  • Identify and document detailed business rules, process variations, exception handling, and system configuration parameters for various platform modules.
    
• Functional Specification & Configuration:
  • Translate complex business requirements into precise functional specifications, user stories, and configuration documents for developers and QA teams.
    
  • Define detailed data models, state transitions, and logic for platform features, particularly those involving smart contract interactions and off-chain/on-chain data synchronization.
    
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business logic and platform configurations.
    
• Integration Management:
  • Analyze, document, and design integrations between the Roxonn platform and external systems, including GitHub APIs, XDC Network (smart contracts, oracles), identity solutions, and potentially third-party financial services.
    
  • Define API contracts, data mapping, and error handling for integrations.
    
  • Troubleshoot and support the resolution of integration issues.
    
• System Validation & Stakeholder Alignment:
  • Develop comprehensive test scenarios and acceptance criteria for complex workflows and integrations.
    
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of platform functionalities against specified requirements.
    
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders (product, engineering, community, partners) to gather requirements, present solutions, and ensure alignment.
    
• Documentation & Knowledge Management:
  • Create and maintain a detailed repository of functional documentation, including process maps, configuration guides, integration specifications, and business rule definitions.
    
  • Ensure documentation is kept current with platform evolution and new feature releases.
    

• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Process Consultant, with a strong background in analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions for complex, integrated software platforms.
  
• Expertise in Workflow Automation & Configuration:
  • Demonstrable experience in defining, configuring, and troubleshooting complex automated workflows and business rules within enterprise or platform software (experience with systems like OpenText VIM, SAP workflow, or similar process automation tools is highly transferable).
    
  • Strong understanding of process modeling, business process re-engineering, and optimization.
    
• Integration Specialist:
  • Solid experience in analyzing requirements for and designing integrations with diverse third-party systems using APIs (REST, GraphQL), messaging queues, or other integration patterns.
    
  • Ability to understand and document complex data flows and dependencies across multiple systems.
    
• Blockchain & Web3 Acumen:
  • Good understanding of blockchain fundamentals, smart contracts, tokenomics, and decentralized application (dApp) architectures. Specific knowledge of the XDC Network is a plus.
    
  • Ability to analyze and document requirements for features involving on-chain transactions, smart contract interactions, and wallet management.
    
• GitHub Ecosystem Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with GitHub's platform, APIs, and common developer workflows (issues, PRs, webhooks, actions) is essential due to Roxonn's core integration.
    
• Analytical & Documentation Prowess:
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
    
  • Meticulous attention to detail with outstanding ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive functional documentation (specifications, process diagrams, configuration guides).
    
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  

• Direct experience with OpenText VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) or SAP VIM, including configuration of DP document types, process options, role determination, and workflow administration.
  
• Experience with financial process automation, e-invoicing, or procure-to-pay (P2P) cycles.
  
• Knowledge of specific integration technologies or standards relevant to enterprise systems (e.g., OData, IDocs, BAPIs if from SAP background, or modern API management tools).
  
• Experience with data migration and system upgrade projects.
  
• Familiarity with testing methodologies for complex, integrated systems.
  
• Understanding of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies and their application in process automation.
  
• Experience working on platforms that manage digital assets, rewards, or contributions in a decentralized manner.
