We are seeking a passionate and experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and React. In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining scalable, maintainable, and well-tested systems. You’ll play a key role in mentoring team members, leading technical initiatives, and ensuring code quality through best practices and test automation.
Responsibilities and Duties:Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and testable full stack applications.
Lead the design and architecture of new features and projects.
Collaborate closely with engineering peers and stakeholders across teams.
Establish and enforce best practices for a healthy and sustainable codebase.
Participate in and support code reviews, testing strategies, and pair programming sessions.
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers.
Identify and resolve roadblocks to team productivity and drive prioritization of impactful work.
Advanced experience as a Full Stack Developer using Ruby on Rails and React.
Deep understanding of automated testing and testing strategies.
Recognized as a go-to expert within your team or organization.
Effective communicator and team collaborator.
Strong project leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong commitment to high-quality code and test coverage (RSpec is especially important).
Familiarity with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright (Cypress being phased out).
Experience with system design and architectural decisions.
Demonstrated success in mentoring and coaching engineering talent.
Availability to work with a schedule that aligns closely with Pacific Standard Time (PST).
