FullStack ROR + React

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and React. In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining scalable, maintainable, and well-tested systems. You’ll play a key role in mentoring team members, leading technical initiatives, and ensuring code quality through best practices and test automation.

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and testable full stack applications.

• Lead the design and architecture of new features and projects.

• Collaborate closely with engineering peers and stakeholders across teams.

• Establish and enforce best practices for a healthy and sustainable codebase.

• Participate in and support code reviews, testing strategies, and pair programming sessions.

• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers.

• Identify and resolve roadblocks to team productivity and drive prioritization of impactful work.

• Advanced experience as a Full Stack Developer using Ruby on Rails and React.

• Deep understanding of automated testing and testing strategies.

• Recognized as a go-to expert within your team or organization.

• Effective communicator and team collaborator.

• Strong project leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Strong commitment to high-quality code and test coverage (RSpec is especially important).

• Familiarity with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright (Cypress being phased out).

• Experience with system design and architectural decisions.

• Demonstrated success in mentoring and coaching engineering talent.

• Availability to work with a schedule that aligns closely with Pacific Standard Time (PST).
