Reporting to the R&D Team Lead, the Full Stack Software Engineer is responsible for the design and development of the WebCenter web application. This includes creating the specification, architectural design and writing the code (mainly Typescript, JavaScript and Java) for the application server or client application. WebCenter is a unique and powerful web-based platform that manages all the complexities of creating the packaging you find in supermarkets, pharmacies, etc. Brand owners and packaging professionals work together to specify, design and execute for high-quality and on-time delivery of packaging. The Full Stack Software Engineer will be in Ghent or Prague.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Develop and maintain robust software in your scrum team, making sure it meets all the functional and non-functional requirements
Innovate and develop new product concepts as part of a team
Participate in peer code reviews
Stay up to date on software technology, tools and competing products
Exchange technical information with your colleagues
Follow and help optimizing installed processes, policies and procedures
The essential requirements of the job include:
You hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, informatics or you can prove comparable skills through experience.
You have a solid knowledge of modern web development TypeScript, React, database, and Java.
Knowledge of J2EE, Cloud technologies (AWS), databases or web application security is a plus.
You are proficient in spoken and written English. Any other language is appreciated.
