SafeLease is looking for a highly motivated Full Stack Engineer to be a collaborative partner working closely with company leadership to build effective solutions for complex problems. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this Engineer will work up and down the stack on our core product.
About The Role
Joining our Engineering team at this early stage means your work will have an outsized influence on future developers, the codebase, and company culture. This role is based out of our downtown Austin office—full time at first and then hybrid after onboarding.
Expect to tackle:

Working with engineering teammates to build, test, and ship code across the entire stack

Collaborating with product teammates to craft elegant, customer-focused solutions to problems

Triaging, prioritizing, and resolving bugs quickly and effectively

Constantly looking for ways to improve performance, quality, and efficiency

Developing with a customer-centric mindset, understanding who we’re here to build for and what they care about
About You
A collaborative and innovative thinker who has experience shipping code in a fast-paced, agile environment will be able to make a huge impact at SafeLease!
Your experience:

2+ years in a full-stack software development role

CS/EE degree, coding bootcamp, or equivalent hands-on experience

Professional competency utilizing the following languages and frameworks: Typescript, JavaScript, NodeJS, ExpressJS, REST APIs, React, Relational database, Git, AWS

Proven ability to work with other software development engineers for problem reproduction and resolution

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with monitoring/management/deployment is highly desirable

Desire to work in-person or hybrid from our beautiful downtown Austin office
