Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, engineers, and other technical professionals.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure best practices are followed.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Help to develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines and risk management.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Software Development:
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and security standards.
- Perform build and technical assessments to ensure system integrity and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Gather and interpret requirements to ensure alignment with business goals.
Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges.
- Implement robust testing and validation processes to minimize defects.
- Continuously monitor systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Able to perform application administration and system configurations.
Required Qualification:
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in application development.
- Proven experience managing and overseeing IT projects from inception to completion.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar.
- Experience in Low Code/No Code development platforms (e.g., Microsoft PowerApps, OutSystems) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, networking, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Advanced skills in designing and implementing complex workflows and automation.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, features, and best practices.
- Proficiency with other Azure services, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database.
- Strong skills in designing, developing, and integrating APIs (RESTful, SOAP).
- Expertise in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience with backend web development using frameworks such as Node.js, Django, or ASP.NET. • Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first web development.
- Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques and tools.
- Proficiency in using version control systems like Git.
Leadership and Management Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of IT professionals.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
