Position Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, tests, delivers, maintains, and improves business applications as a member of a team, working across Full-Stack through the entire software development lifecycle.
- Designs end-user interfaces, databases, APIs and server-side logic while maintain both front and back-end web applications’ components.
- Applies disciplined coding practices to enable agility and delivery of high-quality code.
- Applies design patterns, automation, and semantic versioning where and when available
- Uses development frameworks and third-party libraries
- Conducts a wide range of tests and analysis to ensure software applications meets or exceeds standards, and end-user requirements.
- Develops detailed system design specifications to serve as a guide for system/program development.
- Assists in the development of automated test harnesses to ensure delivery of high-quality code.
- Performs various investigative "Spikes" to mitigate technical uncertainty and risk.
- Fixes errors, assists in resolving bugs, and boosts the overall efficiency of the software.
- Participates in ideation and brainstorming sessions to devise creative and innovative digital solutions.
- Creates prototype design for products with a wide range of techniques.
- Completes any required documentation e.g., deployment, maintenance, support and business needs.
- Understands CI/CD methods, API development, DevSecOps, and database design.
- Engages in peer reviews of code / work and analysis for continuous learning and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years Full Stack Software Engineer experience
- Solid hands-on experience in React, Node.js, Express, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and writing front end tests.
- Experience in designing solid React components with Redux, that is reusable, efficient, and easy to maintain; Knowledge of React server-side rendering.
- Strong CSS background in building user interfaces while collaborating with scalability and mobile responsiveness in mind.
- Experience in building digital products with accessibility in mind and conducting accessibility testing throughout the design and development processes.
- Understanding of agile and DevOps principles, development procedures that prioritize testing, continuous integration, and other techniques to expedite the release of new features.
- Experience working/communicating with clients and collaborators while being empathetic to their needs.
- Good verbal and written communication; effectively articulates technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes.
- Experience developing front-end applications in compliance with accessibility standards and guidelines such as WCAG 2.1
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge or exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) will be a HUGE plus.
- Cloud based development experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) or similar platform.
- Exposure to PaaS and micro-service architectures.
- Working Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/Team City
- Familiarity with GitHub actions
- Knowledge in SonarQube, Fortify and WebInspect.
- Developing junior engineers and a passion for growing staff within the organization

Salary range is expected to be between
$86,100.00 CAD - $136,100.00 CADEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
