We are expanding our team and are seeking an experienced, full-time Software Developer with demonstrated expertise in crafting intuitive user interfaces, delivering robust, responsive web designs, and resolving complex coding issues through advanced debugging and programming skills.

About the role

As a member of our Technology Team, you'll be integral to the continued growth and enhancement of our cutting-edge software platforms. We are looking for someone who thrives in complex problem-solving situations, as their main focus will be on complex debugging and resolving intricate technical issues. Our ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior-level developer (5+ years of experience) who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position is perfect for someone who loves to code, is quick to learn new technologies, and wants to develop in a full stack environment.


This role will be based out of our Sherwood Park, AB office (not a remote position).

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Collaborating with clients, the technology team, management, and other stakeholders to gather and document user requirements from clients and stakeholders, converting these into technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues, focusing on high-priority bugs and providing ongoing support.
  • Write, update, implement, and test software code.
  • Manage workflow based on case priority levels set by the support and management teams.
  • Communicating case statuses, providing timely issue notifications, and providing resolution recommendations.
  • Provide ongoing technical guidance and support during development, ensuring that deliverables align with business and end-user needs.
  • Acting as a technical resource for clients, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring deliverables meet business and end-user requirements.
  • Work on long-term development projects and infrastructure improvements (in AWS and Azure environments).
  • Contributing to quality assurance and user testing.
  • Documenting code updates.
  • Updating the user interface to enhance customer experience.

You might be the right fit if you:

  • Have 5+ years of experience as a software developer, with strong coding skills in React.js and backend technologies like ColdFusion, PHP, .NET, or Java.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and experience in debugging complex software issues.
  • Demonstrate significant experience in responsive web design and user interface (UI) development.
  • Have a professional and positive attitude with a solution-based approach to challenges
  • Are adaptable, eager to learn, and comfortable with taking on new projects in a dynamic work environment.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and can convey complex technical issues in an understandable way.
  • Thrive in an open office, team-oriented environment where collaboration is key.
  • Demonstrate an eagerness to stay on top of emerging technologies and continuously enhance your skillset.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with both front-end and back-end development, allowing you to contribute across the full stack.
