Full-Stack Product Engineer (React & Django)

Your impact:

In this role, you’ll help redefine how companies find and use offices - all just one click away through Hubble, the UK’s leading online marketplace for coworking and flexible workspaces, now part of Yardi.

Our Product & Engineering team is a close-knit group of creative, open-minded, and curious individuals who thrive on solving problems together. We move fast and stay adaptable, balancing innovation with reliability to deliver meaningful results. 

This hybrid role requires working from the office at least once a week, so please take into account that you should be based in or near Cluj-Napoca.  

What you’ll bring along: 

• At least 2+ years of experience building customer-facing web-based products
• Demonstrated experience in component-based frontend frameworks (preferably React/JavaScript) and/or backend frameworks (preferably Django/Python)
• Ability to write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools like Jest/Vitest, Cypress/Playwright, or Python’s unittest
• Good understanding of semantic HTML, structured CSS, and API design
• Awareness of separation of concernsbetween frontend and backend
• Experience working in a CI/CD environmentto ship to real customers quickly
• Proven experience working in collaborative, team-based environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred, but not required.
  

Nice to Haves:

• Familiarity with microservice architecture
• Experience with React, Next.js, and CSS Modules
• Exposure to backend technologies like Django REST Framework, Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Redis
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Build) and Terraform
• Experience with developer tooling, such as: Docker, *nix, Webpack/Babel, pip/pipenv/poetry, npm/yarn

What you’ll do:

• Build, test, and ship new product features to production
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers to turn ideas into impactful features
• Maintain, refactor, and improve existing systems for scalability and performance
• Contribute to code reviews and ensure clean, maintainable code
• Participate in technical and product design discussions and advocate for best practices
• Help evolve our CI/CD pipelines for faster, safer deployments
• Experiment, prototype, and innovate to push Hubble’s platform forward
