The Role

At ActiveCampaign, we're quickly becoming a leader in WhatsApp-based CRM, Marketing, and automation. We help companies manage all their customer communication, from marketing campaigns to sales conversations and support requests. To become the go-to solution for WhatsApp, we're looking to improve our product in key areas like onboarding, activation, and WhatsApp-specific features.

We are seeking a Product-Minded Engineer who is passionate about building. You understand WhatsApp and use it every day, with a keen eye for UI/UX and design. You will be instrumental in crafting better onboarding flows and customer journeys, ensuring our users get the results they're looking for more easily. This role offers you the opportunity to work closely with our Go-To-Market team, quickly shipping and iterating on features with the tools and support you need to build a product you can be proud of.

On a typical day, you might:

Improve our onboarding story, helping users understand in-product how to best use our platform since WhatsApp for business works differently than personal WhatsApp.
Iterate on our activation and retention flows to help customers effectively discover more features and complex workflows.
Implement new WhatsApp-specific features as they are released by Meta, ensuring we lead the market in feature support.
Mentor the rest of the team in designing and developing user-first web platforms, sharing your knowledge of design and UI/UX.
Collaborate closely with product and sales teams to understand what users want to achieve, then implement and rapidly iterate on changes to bring those goals closer.

What You'll Need

5+ years of experience in a full-stack or frontend position where you have demonstrated strong design and UI/UX knowledge.
A "startup mindset" with a bias for shipping an MVP quickly and iterating on it rather than waiting for it to be perfect.
Experience with object-oriented languages (mainly Python with Django), front-end languages (Typescript, React, Tailwind), and data stores (PostgreSQL, Redis).
Experience developing SaaS systems using REST APIs, microservices on Kubernetes, and integrations with third-party software.
A dedication to quality, with a focus on thorough testing and quick responses to customer feedback.
An ability to get up to speed quickly with our technical environment, which includes frameworks like GraphQL and tools like Gitlab, Vault, Grafana, Sentry, Datadog, K8s, and AWS.

Compensation:

$63 300 - $95 000 MXN gross/month
