We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing Java-based applications. The responsibilities of the role include understanding user requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of plans, and delivering high-quality software solutions that align with business needs. Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a deep understanding of the Java programming language and is familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC). The candidate needs to be self-motivated and able to drive projects to completion.
The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design and implement Java-based applications.
Analyze user requirements to inform application design.
Define application objectives and functionality.
Align application design with business goals.
Develop and test software.
Debug and resolve technical issues.
Integrate applications with third-party web services.
Support the development team with project needs as necessary.
Provide code documentation and maintain the functionality of existing applications.
Design and implement scalable and high-performing solutions.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Senior Java Developer with 8+ years of experience.
Experience with Java frameworks (like SpringBoot, Hibernate); Kotlin will be an advantage
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Experience with database architecture and design (SQL, NoSQL).
Proficiency in frontend technologies like React or Angular is a must
Familiarity with Java testing tools.
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
BSc degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
Experience leveraging cloud solutions in AWS
Experience with SAML and application security best practices
