The RoleYou will be part of a lean, high-ownership duo building ClipBox, a new standalone web platform inside Medal. You will work directly with our General Manager, with oversight from Medal tech leadership.
As a true fullstack builder, you will own projects end-to-end, from idea and UX details to system design, implementation, and launch. The work includes scaling real-time video tracking and analytics (hundreds of thousands of videos), building secure payments and payout workflows, and shipping integrations with social APIs (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram) and related media handling, with a Discord bot planned as part of the ecosystem.
You will move quickly, iterate with AI coding tools, help make pragmatic stack choices, and have meaningful product and design autonomy.
What We're Looking For5+ years of full stack engineering experience
Experience with React, Redux and node.js
In-person: Looking to hire in NYC to contribute alongside the product team. 5 days in the office
Ownership & attention to detail: You see things through, and can be responsible for end-to-end quality of complex features
Code Performance: Excellent understanding of code performance implications in production and confident with profiling tools
Be result-driven: Everything we do is driven by the metrics and performance of the feature. We move fast and ship regularly
