Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with other engineers, data scientists, and product managers to design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications and APIs that power our Argus. You should be comfortable working across the entire stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Full-Stack Applications: Design, build, and maintain web applications and services that are efficient, robust, and scalable
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements, design features, and ensure the successful deployment of software
• Develop Back-End Services: Build and maintain back-end APIs and services using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies
• Implement Front-End Components (less than 5-10% of job): Develop responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient queries, and ensure data integrity and performance
• Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance, ensuring that our applications scale effectively with increased load
• Code Review and Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and ensure code quality across the team
• Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep up with emerging technologies and best practices in web development and software engineering

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience: 2 or more years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or in a similar role
• Back-End Skills: Experience with back-end development using Python; familiarity with RESTful API design and development
• Database Knowledge: Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Testing: Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and other end-to-end testing strategies
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Front-End Expertise: Proficiency in front-end development with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, along with a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, including experience with deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment
• DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar DevOps tools
• AI/ML Exposure: Basic understanding or experience with AI and machine learning concepts

Salary Range: 140k-170k
