About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead for our Full Stack Engineering team to manage and continuously level it up. In this role, you will lead, mentor, and collaborate across departments to drive system architecture, maintain code standards, manage technical debt, and enhance the overall developer experience. Your leadership will be pivotal in troubleshooting, product planning, feature development, and maintaining high-quality documentation. What You'll Do
- You lead, manage, develop, and mentor the Full Stack Engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, high performance, and technical excellence.
- You enhance the developer experience through improved, industry-leading workflows, tools, and processes.
- You engage in regular 1:1s, daily stand-ups, and knowledge-sharing sessions to support seamless cross-team communication
- You collaborate with various teams including Ops, Backend, Frontend, QA, Support, and Solution Architecture, providing technical leadership to design robust and scalable system architectures and manage technical debt.
- You play a key role in product planning, feature development, and time estimations, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- You work hands-on, building front-end features, fixing bugs, and refactoring.
- You participate in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality, consistency, readability, and maintainability.
- You write, review, and maintain comprehensive documentation to support ongoing development and deployment efforts.
- You troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in leading autonomous engineering teams, in a fast-paced international and remote environment.
- Strong sense of ownership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Czech is a plus.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, plus Frontend experience with React or Backend applications.
- Commitment to code quality, security, and timely delivery.
- Enthusiasm for staying current with new technologies in software engineering.
