The Payments team plays a critical role in building and managing Fireflies’ payment infrastructure. This team ensures that billing, subscriptions, invoicing, and transactions run smoothly, securely, and reliably for customers across the globe.
- Develop and maintain scalable payment systems that power subscriptions, billing, invoicing, and transactions — ensuring secure, reliable, and seamless payment experiences for Fireflies customers.
- Optimise and maintain existing integrations
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Utilise payment infrastructure and APIs to power secure transactions, subscription management, and billing workflows.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a software development role as a full-stack engineer. Our tech stack is mostly Node.js (Express), Nest.js, GraphQL, MongoDB, GCP, Kubernetes
- Experience shipping fast, reliable, secure applications using modern development tools
- You have experience working on apps that have supported 10,000+ concurrent users, where you built scalable infrastructure
- Passion for productivity tools and supporting power users
- Experience with Stripe or previous exposure to fintech products would be a plus
- You have the raw intellectual horsepower and the ability to learn quickly
- You contribute to open source (share your GitHub)
- You can design and build scalable infrastructure
- You understand sound architecture principles and can build end-to-end
- Meaningful time spent as a Senior engineer or higher
