Full Stack developer with a proven track record in Vue.js (Freelance)

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer with a strong proven track record in Vue and NestJS development.

You will join a cross functional team that is migrating a web application to a modern technology stack with technologies and tools like NestJS, AWS, Kubernetes, Vue.js,  Microservices, Docker, Typescript and more. Besides the migration you will also be working on new product development. We would like our new colleague to be willing to teach and be taught, react positively to feedback and giving it back to the colleagues, to make sure we always stay on the edge of the ever-changing tech environment.

What you are going to do

• You write clear, efficient, and optimized code
• You collaborate and coach colleagues
• You make sure deployment of software increments are tested and automated trough CI/CD pipelines
• High security standards are embedded in your work
• Building and maintaining automated test frameworks
• You make sure the cloud resources are well designed, optimized, and scalable

An all-round software engineer able to work comfortably on front-end and API projects. The ideal candidate can deal with deadlines and has a passion for technology and innovation, wants to learn continuously and push the team to reach our common goals, has experience of communication with business.

You know how to work in an Agile environment where collaboration and continuous improvements are the foundations. Your passion for technology and delivering high quality solutions is evident in everything you do. You bring 5+ years of experience in a senior engineering position. Preferably your proficient in both Dutch and English. Furthermore you bring:

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and analytically to identify and implement effective solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in a variety of programming languages and frameworks like VueJS and NodeJS TypeScript, with a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work and delivering value to our customers
• A continuous learning mindset with a passion for exploring new technologies and tools to improve our platform and processes

Who you will work with

You will be joining the PEQ team which is one of the NN Pensions Digital teams. The team is responsible for processing information from different sources to our backend systems. Both internal and external customers make use of the services provided by the team. It is a small team with enthusiastic developers and are really looking forward to meeting you.

At NN we work hybrid. We combine working from home and working in the office. The team meets each other 1 to 2 days per week in the office. You and your team agree on what suits you best. We have set up our offices in such a way that there is a suitable place for every type of work. The official location for this job is Rotterdam.
