Big data-science ideas need solid technical foundations. That’s why NN is looking for a Full-Stack Azure Platform Engineer in Prague who can build cool stuff for our AI squads and keep everything running smoothly.

Your impact at NN

You’ll join a mission focused on giving our data scientists the tools they need. From spinning up Azure resources with a single script to crafting user-friendly web apps for AI models, you’ll make sure we have a platform that just works. You will join a mission focused on transforming NN into digital and AI driven company. You will play a key role in turning AI solutions into polished, user-friendly applications. From building robust back-end services to creating a clean, responsive front-ends to expose our solutions to the end users.

The tasks you will perform

• Team up with data scientists AI engineers to build impactful AI-powered full stack solutions the right Azure pieces in place.

• Automate everything with ARM, Azure CLI and Dev CLI so deployments are click-and-go. Write Python code with documentation and accompanying tests.

• Code full-stack apps that let business users test and play with AI. Collaborate with UX designers to create an intuitive front-end for users to interact with the solution.

• Keep access secure via AAD roles, service principles and the like. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.

• Deploy the containerized app to Azure cloud. Run containerized workloads in Docker and Kubernetes on Azure.

The knowledge and experience you bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• You have hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript (React/TypeScript), and you're confident working with RESTful APIs — ideally using FastAPI. If your background is in other programming languages but you already have some experience with Python and are motivated to deepen it, we’re open to that as well. 

• You know how to work with docker, containerize an application.  

• Azure experience is a must-have for this role. Ideally you have experience using Azure for App development and hosting, familiar with authentication methods and their implementation. 

• Terraform/Bicep or any IaC tool is not strange to you. 

• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry and Azure App Insights is nice to have. 

• You’ve worked in Agile setups and can explain tech stuff to non-technical audiences. 

• Advanced English proficiency required for working in an international environment.

What is hiring process with us like

Once we review your application and English CV, Veronika (Talent Acquisition Partner - RPO) will give you a short introductory call to discuss the open position.

If the initial conversation goes well, you’ll be invited to two interview rounds. The first round will ideally take place in person at our Prague office (or online) with Radek (Hiring Manager / Data Engineering Manager) and Veronika. In the second round, you’ll meet several members of the team you may soon be joining.
