Develop scalable, secure full-stack applications with a backend focus using Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, AWS, PostgreSQL, and React. Build low-latency REST APIs, SDK integrations, multi-tenant systems, database schemas and migrations, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. Contribute to complex systems, frontend development, and client projects while maintaining strong engineering practices, accountability, and attention to detail. The role is remote in Latin America with overlap during US business hours.

Requirements
- 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused)
- Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Experience building low-latency API services in AWS
- Experience building scalable RESTful APIs
- Experience with SDK integrations to other services
- Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS)
- Experience building secure multi-tenant environments
- Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate)
- Professional experience with React
- Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode/fault-injection testing
- Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development
- CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills
- Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed
- Substantial background working with large, complex systems
- Ability to overlap US business hours
- Bachelor's degree required
