We are looking for a results-driven Learning & Development Specialist to lead the design, facilitation, and continuous improvement of employee training programs across the organization. This role is key in enhancing employee experience from day one through effective onboarding, compliance education, leadership development, and product/system training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain structured employee onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training to meet company policies and legal requirements.
  • Create engaging and scalable leadership and management development programs.
  • Coordinate and document product and system training for different departments.
  • Utilize LMS (Learning Management System) to assign, track, and report training progress and certifications.
  • Collaborate with HR, team leads, and department heads to identify training needs and close performance gaps.
  • Analyze training outcomes and make recommendations for improvements based on data and feedback.
  • Ensure all training content is current, accessible, and aligned with company values and goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate training, L&D, or employee development (not just general HR)
  • Hands-on experience with LMS platforms and tracking learning progress
  • Strong content development and facilitation skills (online and in-person)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices

Nice to Have

  • Experience in e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Canva, iSpring)
  • Background in HR, talent management, or employee engagement
  • Certification in Training & Development or Instructional Design

System Requirements

  • Computer Processor: Minimum 5th generation Intel i5 processor or equivalent
  • Computer Memory/RAM: Minimum 8.00 GB
  • Computer Operating System: Windows 10 or Mac OSX - No Linux, Unix, or any operating system other than what is required.
  • Internet Speed: Running on a 5.0 MBPS plan or higher (Both primary and backup) - If your backup connection cannot serve as your primary connection, that does not qualify as a backup connection
  • REQUIRED Headset: Noise-cancelling headset connected via USB port
  • REQUIRED WebCam: At least 3 megapixels capable of 720p recording

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field

  • Hands-on experience with LMS platforms and tracking learning progress
