About your role
Our team supports the ongoing development of our Global operating environment and business strategy.
Over the next ten months there will be significant investment to support the transition our German Platform business in line with our strategy.This will require activity both at a Fidelity group level as well as in the UK and Germany, of which a significant portion will be within Technology.
This Project Manager role will work closely with the teams in the UK and Germany on the development and execution of the technology plan to ensure the future technology estate aligns with business objectives. The scope is likely to include key focus on decommissioning services, security, application development and all corporate functions (where impated technologically), which may also include third parties.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be need to:
- Experience of delivering ServiceNow projects
- Experience of managing project piplelines, high level estimation and business cases
- Deliver projects and continuous change demonstrating agile practices
- Provide governance and MI reporting to the technology and business management team
- Experience of managing product delivery across multiple locations
- Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective communication and conflict management.
- Ability to work in virtual teams in a diverse environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Expertise in delegation, task allocation, monitoring/review to the closure
- Flexible and positive attitude - with “can-do” approach, a self-starter that “can think on your feet”
- Good diagnostic and analytical skills.
- Ability to pick up domain knowledge
- Experience using tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Experience of financial management
- Delivery and results focused
