About your team

The Marketing team plays an integral role in the development of Fidelity’s business, brand and reputation in the Australian market. We focus on creating client-centric marketing programs which support the revenue targets and sales strategies of the Australian business and in turn building Fidelity’s brand in this market.

About your role

This role is a fixed term contract, maternity leave cover. The individual requires significant stakeholder engagement within the marketing team and across the organisation. You will be responsible for the updating and production of product and marketing material, supporting Fidelity’s content and insights ambition as well as supporting the team in the execution marketing projects that form part of Fidelity’s marketing plan. You will also have the opportunity to develop content across marketing mediums and execute campaigns to support our marketing and sales objectives.

The role will have the following accountabilities across various marketing disciplines:

Product Marketing

  • Develop and manage product content, including fund flyers, talking points, presentations and videos, aligned with product positioning and competitive strategy.
  • Create timely sales enablement materials and tools to support product launches and ongoing client engagement for focus funds.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly fund commentaries.
  • Oversee publication of monthly and quarterly fund fact sheets (retail, wholesale, and institutional) on website.
  • Work closely with Legal and Product teams to represent marketing in large-scale regulatory projects such as PDS rolls and updates.
  • Develop strong relationships with local Marketing, Sales and Investment teams to ensure product materials and content is aligned with business needs.

Campaign and content marketing

  • Champion a digital-first approach across our client communications.
  • Deliver timely, topical content through to advisers, investors and institutions through our regular and ad-hoc eDMs, webcasts, videos and sponsored content to deliver market- leading insights and thought leadership.
  • Lead the marketing team’s use of Marketo for client-centric communication programs, including execution, tracking, analysis and lead-scoring initiatives, while communicating back to stakeholders and incorporating ongoing feedback from sales.
  • Partner with content providers (Livewire, First Links) to bring thought-leadership to market and drive product campaign propositions aligned with sales priorities.
  • Monitor content analytics to drive engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure consistency and efficiency of content being produced offshore and identify opportunities for use in Australia.

Website

  • Ensure website content is current and compliant using our CMS system, or where appropriate, liasing with our digital agency for campaigns and updates.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify outdated content and maintain accuracy of product information.
  • Use Adobe Analytics and feedback to identify opportunities to enhance and/or streamline website content/pages.

Events

  • Support the event manager with delivery of the strategic marketing objectives for adviser and investor events.
  • Assist with event content development, including presentations, content writing & invitations.

Regulatory requirements

  • Manage sign off process through WorkFront.
  • Own preparation and delivery of quarterly board reports.
  • Manage important client and regulatory announcements and information on the website.

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Good understanding of the Australian funds management industry, its products, regulatory environment and competitive landscape
  • University degree in marketing preferred with passion for marketing and learning more
  • Proven writing skills with a strong interest in writing and content
  • Proven experience in team environments and strong senior stakeholder skills
  • Proven experience in the execution of email marketing and digital campaign marketing
  • Proven experience at managing deadlines and projects
  • Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Copilot, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Experience with marketing automation systems (ex: Marketo, Braze)

Skills Required
