This position is for an experienced equipment installation technician in the C4 / Bump department within the Far Back-End Process (FBE).
The scope of our work revolves around fitting new wafer manufacturing programs and their tools and facilities / infrastructure into a legacy fab and subfab which presents formidable technical challenges.

The C4 / Bump portfolio contributes significantly to Intel's success. A strong tolerance of ambiguity and ability to pivot plans is required for the role to be able to respond to late changes in delivery of materials or handover of facilities or change of priorities due to shifting business needs. This position reports to the Tool Install Program Manager.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Identify any safety concerns in anything we do – your contribution matters!
Act as tool owner for installation process, pass Intel-owned safety standard milestones
Contribute to design and detailing phases of Tool Install (TI)
Ensure tools / equipment / kits are ordered in alignment with schedule
Support forecasting funding requirements
Align stakeholders’ support for TI milestones / activities.
Attend planning meetings with 3rd party trades and FCS (construction) and lead solution-finding
Work with suppliers to ensure business needs are understood and that materials and (human) resources are delivered on time
Flag any risks to TI scope or schedule early and clearly
Ensure green badges and trades are trained and competent and comply with SOPs
Feedback and incorporate any VF Learnings into Ireland TI operations

Note: This role requires mandatory onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities. Shift alignment will be discussed during interview. Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
National Framework Qualification (NFQ) Level 6/7 in a technical discipline AND
5+ years in technical / semiconductor / pharmaceutical / biomedical /medical device manufacturing. OR
5+ years of hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance in a regulated environment OR
5+ years in electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair, and operation in a regulated environment OR
5+ years experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications (not essential):
Knowledge and expertise in process tool equipment
Experience of medium and/or large-scale projects
Previous install/deinstall experience
An understanding of the department’s specific tools
Project planning and prioritization skills
Good verbal / written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
