Higginbotham, a privately held, independent insurance and financial services firm that ranks within the top 20 nationwide, has an immediate opening for a FSA/HRA (CDHP) Client Manager in our Fort Worth, TX office.

The ideal candidate will be service-oriented, proactive, organized, and able to work well within the Day 2 Services teams. The FSA/HRA (CDHP) Client Manager is responsible for building, maintaining and strengthening the relationship with CDHP clients on Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Reimbursement Accounts, and Commuter Accounts.

Essential Tasks:

  • Manage a book of business for all servicing needs to client contacts
  • Handle emails and phone calls to address any concerns or issues a client may have relating to their FSA, HRA, and Commuter Plans
  • Work closely with Account Managers and Brokers to provide a team approach on client needs for renewals and ongoing service
  • Analyze and process enrollments, qualifying life events, and terminations received via email, SFTP Files, and Benefit Systems
  • Process and assess data file imports, while ensuring exceptions are handled proactively
  • Create Semi-Monthly and Monthly invoices, audit to ensure accuracy, and deliver to clients timely
  • Generate payment transactions via NACHA files to collect payment on invoices
  • Maintain follow-up procedures with clients to collect on outstanding invoice payments
  • Manage monthly and quarterly account reconciliation of plans and payroll postings

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work independently to accomplish established goals
  • Critical thinking with the ability to use reasoning and assess situations quickly while making logical and appropriate decisions
  • Attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Possess solid interpersonal and proactive troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to work across multiple software systems
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Experience and Education

  • CDHP business/industry experience is preferred
  • Prior Client Facing Experience preferred
