About the roleAs a Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing user interfaces that are both intuitive and visually stunning, using Next.js, React and Tailwind. You’ll collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to bring new features to life, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. Your expertise will be crucial in building responsive and high-performance web applications. If you have a passion for problem-solving and a keen eye for detail, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our product and its users.
What you'll do- Working closely with the product and backend team to implement new features
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional features
- Writing e2e tests using Playwright
- Refactoring and improving existing features of the product based on best practices, changing requirements, and feedback from QA
- Reviewing your peers’ code to keep our code base clean and extensible
- Exchanging ideas with the design team to improve the user experience
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to innovate and enhance our frontend stack
- Previous startup experience is a bonus
- 2+ years of frontend experience with React
- Experience with Next.js, Tailwind, Radix UI, Shadcn UI, Playwright stack is a bonus
- Solid TypeScript knowledge would be great, but at least fundamental knowledge is required
- Ability to turn hi-fi designs into pixel-perfect UI
- Passion for creating delightful user experiences
- Good communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Mandatory: Saudi national with engineering experience, bilingual in Arabic & English
