As a Frontend Engineer on the team, you'll have a key role in developing our product and its unique features, working closely with our Product team while building a delightful experience for our users. You are passionate about software engineering and building a product end-to-end and will be responsible for owning the dev cycle from the technical design, through coding and testing, to deployment and monitoring. We work in a true continuous delivery environment with fully automated QA processes on a microservices architecture, deploying to production dozens of times every day.

  • 3+ years professional experience as a software engineer with emphasis on frontend development.
  • Experience with modern HTML, CSS and JS (ES2015, TypeScript).
  • Excellent knowledge of software design and the architecture of web products.
  • Experience with testing methodologies - unit-testing, TDD, mocking, etc.
  • Independent, fast learner, and excited about learning new technologies.
  • Proactive team player with a desire to impact our team, our product, and our customers.

The following are a big plus
  • Experience developing a payroll / payments / HR related product.

Job Responsibilities
What will you do?
  • Collaborate closely with the Product team to develop unique features and enhance the user experience.
  • Build and deliver high-quality, end-to-end solutions that focus on user experience.
  • Own the entire development cycle, including:
    • Technical design
    • Coding and testing
    • Deployment and monitoring
  • Work in a continuous delivery environment with fully automated QA processes.
  • Contribute to a microservices architecture, supporting production deployments multiple times daily.
  • Demonstrate a passion for software engineering and drive to deliver exceptional results.

**Note: We will consider both candidates located in the New York Metro Area who are willing to work in our NYC office 2-3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) OR Remote in the U.S. or Canada**
Base salaries for this role range from $140,000 - $175,000 per year.
