Job DescriptionThe team you will be joining: AML
The AML Handling team within the Financial Crime prevention squad focuses on providing back-office tooling for AML operational teams. As a Member of this team, you will be working on improving case handling experience for a growing group of a 200 strong operations team, and enable operational teams to get faster in solving cases, better in detecting Money Laundering activity in Wise.
Our main vision points are:
We enable a Unified back-office experience for AML agents, such that Agents working on AML Cases have the right information presented to them at the right time.
We leverage Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to automate all time intensive agent tasks, and unblock agent productivity.
We enable Operations to create investigation flows instantly to respond to emerging trends and changes.
Overall the AML Handling team will be instrumental in enabling operations to achieve instant queues, block good customers for the least amount of time, and offer a smooth operational experience for AML agents.
What does it take?
- You have 3+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and ReactJS
- A strong product mindset and passion for user experience, you prioritise work with the customers in mind and make data-driven decisions to fix customer pain-points
- Great communication skills and the ability to articulate complex, technical concepts to non-technical audience
- You enjoy writing testable code and believe in Test Driven Development
- You are passionate about learning and using UI/UX design principles to create intuitive interfaces for financial crime detection workflows
- You believe in and follow best coding practices, code reviews and open feedback
- Hands on knowledge of system integration patterns
