Role Description
At Respond.io, Frontend Developers are pivotal to our company’s success. We are seeking a detailed-oriented individual that is ready to be part of our Frontend Department and is committed to contributing to the development of our web application. As our Frontend Developer, your role will focus on code development, automation, and testing to deliver functional, secure and user-friendly web applications while working closely with our Backend Department.
Responsibilities
- Determine the structure and design of platform modules and REST APIs
- Implement product features in collaboration with the Backend Department
- Automate building and testing of code
- Ensure the web design is optimized for multiple devices
- Develop and maintain reusable and efficient frontend components and libraries
- Optimize web applications for increased speed and scalability
- Strike a balance between functional and aesthetic design
- Maintain brand consistency throughout the design
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and performance
- Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, ensuring smooth and optimal user experience
- Provide coaching and technical mentoring to junior developers
Qualifications
- Degree holder in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
- As we are hiring multiple head counts, we are looking for 1 till 3 years of relevant software experience for our Developer
- 4+ years of relevant software experience for our Senior Developer
- Track record of software testing and/or development projects
- Experience in Vue.js is a must-have requirement. Experience in React.js and/or Node.js is preferred
- Firm grasp of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript, Node.js with Express
- Familiarity with the Vuetify framework, Tailwind CSS as well as Vue Test Utils, Vitest and/or Jest
- Good understanding of Webpack/Rollup
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and able to work under pressure
- Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills to isolate problem/defect areas
- Good communication skills in English with an ability to clearly explain complex ideas verbally and in writing
- Nimble and agile team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Candidates having GitHub profile link in their resumes would be preferred.
