The Role

Join us as Front of House Manager and play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences across CROWN LIVE, Melbourne’s newest proscenium arch Theatre and other  entertainment venues across the property.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Entertainment Operations, you will lead all Front of House operations for performances, live entertainment and special events, ensuring guests enjoy a safe, seamless and memorable experience from arrival through to departure. This pivotal leadership role oversees venue readiness, team performance and operational execution, while working closely with production teams and internal stakeholders to support the successful delivery of a diverse program of events.

Leading a team of approximately 30 team members, you will foster a service-focused culture, champion operational excellence and contribute to Crown's reputation as a leading entertainment destination.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead all Front of House operations for performances, events and entertainment experiences.

  • Oversee venue readiness, guest services, safety  and operational delivery to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

  • Manage Front of House staffing, rostering and labour deployment to meet operational requirements.

  • Build strong relationships with production teams, property services and operational stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.

  • Lead, coach and develop Front of House team members, fostering a positive and high-performing culture.

  • Support operational planning for performances, rehearsals, special events and high-attendance shows.

  • Drive compliance with safety, training and operational standards across the venue.Provide visible leadership and operational direction during performances and events,

About You

You are an experienced operational leader with a passion for hospitality, entertainment and delivering outstanding customer experiences. You thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy leading teams and can confidently balance guest expectations, operational priorities and stakeholder requirements.

A strong communicator and natural people leader, you bring a proactive approach to problem solving and a commitment to maintaining exceptional service and safety standards.

You will also bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in venue operations, entertainment, event management, hospitality or a related   environment.

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to engage, motivate and develop teams.

  • Strong customer service expertise and a guest-first mindset.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience coordinating operational requirements across multiple stakeholders and departments.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Sound understanding of workplace health and safety, compliance and operational risk management.

Skills Required

  • Demonstrated experience in venue operations, entertainment, event management, hospitality or related environment
  • Valid Victorian RSA Certificate
  • Proven leadership experience with ability to engage, motivate and develop teams
  • Strong customer service expertise and a guest-first mindset
