We're seeking seasoned Frontend Engineers, specializing in React, to join our expanding office in Sofia, Bulgaria. Experience with any backend technology is a nice-to-have, with C#, MongoDB, and SQL forming part of our tech stack.
As a part of our team, you will collaborate with our engineering groups in London and Boston, creating web-based tools that empower our portfolio managers, researchers, and risk managers to comprehend their portfolios, control their risk, and implement their ideas.

Our Technology Stack
Our preferred technology for developing web applications is React/Redux. However, we're open to new and innovative approaches. Our tech stack is progressive and developer-led, incorporating OpenStack servers, Kubernetes for container orchestration, Prometheus, Loki, and the ELK stack for metrics, logs, and monitoring. We use TeamCity for building and testing our code, Slack for communication, and offer a choice between MacBooks or Windows laptops for developers.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust, user-friendly interfaces using React, balancing usability with high data density.
- Collaborate with our engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy web-based tools that facilitate portfolio management, research, and risk management.
- Participate in all stages of web design and development, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to implementation.
- Gather user feedback to continuously improve our web applications.
- Maintain and enhance our existing web tools, ensuring their continual alignment with user needs and industry best practices.
- Uphold and promote high standards of UI/UX design within the organization.
Requirements/Experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern web development using Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proficiency in at least one JavaScript Framework, especially React.
- Experience in designing and building web interfaces that manage high information density, frequent updates, and complex visualizations.
- Excellent communication skills; adept at collaborating remotely.
- Any experience with backend development, particularly with C#, MongoDB, or SQL, is a plus.
