About the role

At Attain Healthtech, we take frontend performance, reliability and accessibility seriously. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering polished, accessible interfaces and ensuring platform quality through thoughtful implementation and problem-solving. While you'll contribute across the stack, your work will involve building and maintaining frontend Angular application, contributing to our Design System and Component Library, and driving accessibility standards across the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members, designers, and stakeholders to solve complex problems and design effective frontend solutions

  • Take technical ownership of entire software projects, ensuring frontend architecture and applications are robust, accessible, and user-friendly

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of frontend code (Angular) to production

  • Build and maintain reusable components within our Design System and Component Library

  • Ensure all user-facing features meet WCAG accessibility standards

  • Produce clear, detailed documentation - including component usage guides, architectural decisions, and code comments

  • Investigate and resolve frontend issues based on customer and stakeholder feedback

  • Champion frontend best practices and accessibility standards by following clean, standardised coding conventions

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members

  • Actively contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making within the team

What are we looking for

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in frontend development, primarily with Angular.

  • Proven experience working with Design Systems and Component Libraries.

  • Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and assistive technology support.

  • Strong understanding of modern frontend technologies, HTML semantics, CSS, and TypeScript.

  • Ability to design and implement frontend solutions based on requirements and design specifications.

  • Experience with testing and verifying code.

  • Excellent in both written and verbal communication, particularly for technical documentation.

  • Experience with GitHub and Jira.
