A well-established dental office is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This key role ensures the smooth flow of our daily front desk operations by managing patient scheduling, verifying insurance, and maintaining a high standard of patient communication. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage daily patient schedules to optimize provider productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Confirm appointments and communicate schedule changes to patients promptly and professionally.
  • Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, and pre-authorizations for all scheduled procedures.
  • Accurately input and update patient insurance information in the practice management system.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient experiences.
  • Greet patients with warmth and professionalism, maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Handle high-volume phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments, insurance, and general office information.
  • Assist in follow-up scheduling for treatment plans and hygiene appointments.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient records and comply with HIPAA regulations.

  • Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a dental office front desk or scheduling role is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in dental insurance verification and patient benefit coordination.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills are highly desirable.
