Front Desk Receptionist – Spine & Pain Management

Location: St. Marys, GA- Coastal Health
Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our Coastal Health Spine & Pain team in St. Marys, GA. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while helping ensure the front office runs efficiently and patients feel welcomed and cared for.

• Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Check patients in and out and verify demographic and insurance information
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions or direct calls appropriately
• Collect copays, deductibles, and other patient payments
• Obtain and maintain accurate patient information and documentation
• Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes as needed
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff, providers, and patients
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Keep the front desk and waiting area organized and professional
• Assist with medical records, referrals, forms, and other administrative duties
• Provide excellent customer service and help create a positive patient experience

• Previous medical office or front desk experience preferred
• Experience in a specialty or pain management practice is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office
• Comfortable using computers and electronic medical record systems
• Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology is preferred
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
