We are looking for a native Spanish-speaking linguist to join our team for a long-term collaboration on international localization projects.
What you’ll do- Perform Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) of Spanish (Spain) content.
- Occasionally provide human translation when required.
- Review and edit translated content to ensure linguistic accuracy, fluency, consistency, and naturalness.
- Work on IT and software-related content, following project-specific guidelines and terminology.
Requirements
- Native speaker of Spanish (Spain), other Spanish varieties will not be taken into consideration.
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a linguist, translator, or MTPE specialist.
- Proven experience in IT/software localization.
- Excellent command of Spanish (Spain) grammar, style, and terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of content.
- Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
- Familiarity with CAT tools and localization workflows is highly desirable.
- Willing to take client-specific translation test.
