The Franchise Sales Business Development Specialist serves as a key partner to the Franchise Sales organization, supporting pipeline development and deal execution across the full sales lifecycle. This role is responsible for coordinating prospect engagement, managing sales activity flow, and enabling efficient progression from initial outreach through contract execution.
The position also coordinates with virtual assistant resources to ensure seamless scheduling, logistics execution, and consistent support across the sales organization. By aligning closely with sales leadership and leveraging CRM systems, this role enhances pipeline visibility, improves conversion efficiency, and delivers a high-quality experience for prospective franchise partners. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Franchise Sales Executives to coordinate and manage active sales pipeline activities, ensuring timely progression of opportunities.
  • Support prospect engagement efforts, including scheduling and facilitating meetings, follow-ups, and key touchpoints throughout the sales process.
  • Work closely with and coordinate virtual assistant resources to ensure seamless scheduling, timely responses, and consistent execution of prospect meetings and sales-related activities.
  • Manage complex calendar coordination for sales executives and prospects, ensuring meetings are scheduled efficiently and handled professionally.
  • Coordinate all travel logistics for prospect-facing engagements, including booking flights, hotels, ground transportation, travel itineraries, and event schedules.
  • Drive deal coordination and execution readiness, partnering with cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, and Contracts to facilitate smooth deal progression.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline data, sales activities, and prospect records within Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Ensure CRM data integrity, reporting accuracy, and pipeline visibility to support effective decision-making by sales leadership.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of sales presentations, prospect-facing materials, proposals, and communications to support business development efforts.
  • Proactively identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve pipeline velocity and overall sales effectiveness.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement and Sales Operations teams to support reporting, analytics, process enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in sales support, sales operations, business development, executive coordination, or related roles.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, quota-driven sales environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating meetings, executive calendars, travel arrangements, and prospect-facing events.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with distributed support resources, including virtual assistants, to ensure high-quality execution and responsiveness.
  • Experience preparing sales presentations, proposals, and business development materials.
  • Strong process orientation with experience supporting reporting initiatives and process improvement efforts.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar) and other business productivity tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to drive execution with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.

Skills Required
