Job Description
Role Summary:
We're looking for a FP&A Partner to join the Global Finance Services Team based in Cyberjaya and report directly to Regional FP&A Manager which cover both EMEA & APAC region. This is a high-profile role with Executive level exposure, and with tremendous opportunity to influence main FP&A processes in the region and the ability to positively affect the P&L performance through deep dive analysis and financial modelling. We ask that you have an understanding of important financial drivers and to produce analysis to be used at an Executive level to directly influence the direction of the business. We are looking for someone who not only has the capability to meet technical requirements but also displays the behaviors needed to work with stakeholders across countries and cultures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Region Core FP&A activities such as Monthly Forecast & Flash, Quarterly performance review and Annual budget processes and long-term planning submission
- Develop financial models that help senior management make informed decisions. Ensure accuracy of financial models, validate assumptions and perform sensitivity analysis to assess the impact to different variables or scenarios of financial outcomes
- Collaborate with broader finance and market leadership team to understand important financial drivers, market department and responsibilities to promote analysis & modelling
- Communicating results and recommendation to senior management for improvements to lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining of operations; provide ongoing visibility to performance vs. expectation and support management in managing risks and opportunities.
- Prepare executive ready presentations for various reporting needs such forecast/budget/QPR/Strategic planning and ad hoc financial modelling
- Guide FP&A process improvement & automation by using technology
- Develop meaningful improvement analysis for the region
- Participate in any Regional or Global projects
- Ensure excellent and consistent data quality in the financial systems
- Ensure Experian finance system capabilities are being leveraged to optimise reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Experience of working in a Commercial Finance or FP&A function (6+ years), including dealing with stakeholders in different global locations
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong university degree qualification. A member of internationally recognised accountancy qualification would be an advantage, i.e. CPA, ACA, CGMA (CIMA) or equivalent
- High Motivation, High Energy, High Engagement.
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint – with an ability to build complex financial models and graphs
- Knowledge of and experience using new technology & financial systems (such as Hyperion, Tableau, Microsoft copilot, GenAI) would be preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Resilient and durable, able to maintain momentum in the face of obstacles and setbacks.
- Able to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in an effective manner.
- Ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands.
