This position is based in our Plymouth, Minnesota headquarters. We believe collaboration is strongest when we're together, so this role is primarily in-office, with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week. While the role generally follows standard business hours, occasional evening or weekend work is expected during key planning cycles, month-end close, and to collaborate with colleagues in Thailand and support our global finance operations.

  • Continuously improve financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes through better tools and more effective ways of working.
  • Develop a strong understanding of NatureWorks' manufacturing operations and business model to provide meaningful financial guidance and support informed decision-making.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who enjoys learning the business, collaborating with others, and using financial insights to make an impact.

You'll bring:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build trusted partnerships across the organization.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding how the business operates beyond the financial statements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to finance and non-finance audiences alike.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in enhancing processes, reporting, and business performance.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Seven or more years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Accounting, including experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business analysis.
  • Experience preparing executive-level financial reporting and presentations.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Experience partnering with business leaders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
