FP&A Manager for Marine

We are looking for a proactive and experienced FP&A Manager to join our Global FP&A team and lead financial planning for our Marine business. This is a high‑impact role where you will work closely with senior stakeholders, shape forecasting processes, and deliver insights that directly influence strategic decisions across Hempel.

As FP&A Manager, you will partner with Finance Business Partners (dotted line) and take ownership of delivering high‑quality reporting, forecasts, and strategic plans. This is a hands‑on role that blends strong financial expertise with excellent communication and stakeholder management.

What Your Responsibilities will be?

• Lead the delivery of accurate, timely, and insightful management reporting, highlighting performance trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, ensuring financial insights support strategic priorities and business goals.

• Own and continuously improve the end‑to‑end forecasting process, driving accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

• Prepare executive‑level presentations, translating complex data into clear, compelling insights.

• Analyze results, forecasts, and variances to identify key performance drivers and provide forward‑looking recommendations.

• Drive automation and continuous improvement of reporting and planning processes using modern tools and best practices.

• Collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners and cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment on assumptions, reporting standards, and business objectives.

What You Bring?

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis with a strong track record of improving processes and implementing best practices.

• Strong proficiency in Excel, financial systems (SAP, D365), and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). Experience with machine learning is a plus.

• Full professional proficiency in English.

• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.

• Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in an international, cross‑functional environment.

• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, high attention to detail, and a passion for data‑driven decision‑making.
