The Role

Overview

Sybill.ai is a Series A startup transforming conversational intelligence for B2B sales teams. Traditional go-to-market stacks equip sales reps with adequate admin tools, but maintaining these tools has become cumbersome, detracting from reps’ primary goal: building relationships and closing deals. Sybill not only automates these tasks but also provides actionable conversational and behavioral insights from calls, empowering reps to become super sellers. All they need to do is talk to the customer.

We’ve grown our revenue by more than 15x in just over a year, and we’re eager to expand our team. We’re seeking an innovative, independent Founding Product Designer to own the entire product design process at Sybill, from ideation to pixel-perfect execution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong grasp of product strategy and UX design principles, technical aptitude, and impeccable craftsmanship. As we refine our core product and introduce new features, you’ll play a pivotal role in propelling our company to the next stage.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Information Architecture: Reorganize and enhance the structure of our product to ensure it is seamless, intuitive, and user-friendly.
  • Interaction Design: Design and optimize the interactive elements of our AI tools to elevate the sales rep user experience.
  • Workflow Improvement: Analyze and refine existing AI and non-AI workflows to boost user satisfaction and retention, enhancing usability, accessibility, and the overall pleasure of interacting with our product.
  • Visual Design: Define and own the visual identity of our product, ensuring clear, striking, and polished visual design. Intentionally evolve our design system as we scale.
  • Feature Development: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to plan, design, test, release, and iterate on new features and capabilities.
  • User Research: Partner with Product to conduct user research, understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations, and translate insights into innovative AI-driven products.

Minimum Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience as a B2B product designer, delivering polished products independently, preferably in a startup environment.
  • Skills: Proficient in both UX and UI design, including wireframing, prototyping, and user testing, with a sharp intuition for creating accessible mental models and flows.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing successful design projects and the ability to solve complex user problems for both desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Ownership: Internalizing each task and project as your own, taking personal responsibility to ensure successful outcomes, and aligning with business needs.
  • Collaboration: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively within a cross-functional team, balancing vision, craft, and speed.
  • User Centricity: A deep focus on user experience (B2B) with the ability to translate user needs, motivations, and feedback into practical design solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AI Experience: Experience working with AI products or a solid understanding of AI technology, particularly in B2B products leveraging Generative AI.
  • Sales Tools: Familiarity with tools and workflows used by sales teams, with the ability to understand, engage with, and empathize with their unique needs.

Compensation and Benefits

$150k-$180k (includes base + variable cash) + Equity

Individual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, qualifications, experience, and other job-related knowledge.
