We’re looking for a founding engineer to help shape and build the technical foundation of TriFetch. You’ll work directly with the founders to design, build, and scale the core infrastructure and applications that power our healthcare AI products. This is an opportunity to own meaningful systems end-to-end, make architectural decisions from first principles, and influence the direction of the company from day one.Responsibilities
Build and scale production-ready applications across frontend and backend.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments (GCP, Azure, AWS), and infrastructure automation.
Architect and optimize systems for performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate directly with founders on technical strategy, product design, and roadmap execution.
Debug, monitor, and improve app reliability and developer experience.
Prototype fast, moving fluidly between backend systems, frontend UX, and AI demo integrations.
Requirements
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent discipline
Strong experience with modern full-stack development (frontend + backend).
Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and common frontend tooling.
Strong backend expertise in Node.js and Python, including REST API design and security best practices.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, optimization, monitoring).
High proficiency in containerization, microservices, and distributed system design.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments and observability (monitoring, alerting, logging).
Strong understanding of authentication/authorization, secrets management, and app hardening.
Nice to Have
Experience with Cloud Run, Kubernetes, or similar orchestration frameworks.
Familiarity with AI/LLM post-training and integrations (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, xAI).
Prior experience in a fast-moving startup or as a founding team member.
