Job Description:

As the first engineering hire at Kip, you will build the "Personal CFO" for younger generations. You will architect AI-native systems that automate complex wealth management, from tax optimization engines to life-event simulators. Working directly with a Stanford/IIT-educated CTO, you will transform fragmented financial data into actionable, hyper-personalized wealth-building moves.

What you will do:

  • Build a high-fidelity life event simulator and tax optimization engine that models hundreds of financial scenarios to deliver hyper-personalized strategies.

  • Develop and deploy autonomous AI agents that monitor financial goals in the background and execute proactive wealth-building moves for users.

The ideal candidate:

  • 2+ years of experience building and debugging production-grade systems with a proven track record of shipping software from scratch to users.

  • Native fluency in AI-first workflows, utilizing LLMs to accelerate development and building products where AI is the core engine, not an add-on.

  • Strong systems thinker with an ownership mentality who is comfortable navigating the ambiguity and fast-paced environment of an early-stage startup.
