About the Job

As a key growth accelerator, A11 partners with Europe's most ambitious startups, scaleups, corporates, and SMBs to connect them with top-tier talent ready to make an impact.

We're looking for a motivated Founding BDR (m/f/d) to own top-of-funnel pipeline at one of our Ecosystem Companies.

Join the A11 Ecosystem – our client builds the platform to deploy AI agents across industrial supply chain operations. Their mission: to strengthen Europe's industrial backbone by making operational processes future-proof. The agents automate the purchase order lifecycle end to end, giving companies control over their single largest cost driver. They run on the supply chain context graph – a real-time intelligence layer built from ERP data and the knowledge that today only lives in inboxes and people's heads. Leading industrial enterprises already trust their AI agents to turn procurement into a strategic driver of growth rather than a bottleneck. With $6M in funding from Project A, Speedinvest, Sequoia Scouts, and industry veterans, the company is in production with enterprise customers, scaling rapidly and shipping new features daily.

As Founding BDR, top of funnel is your territory. You work side by side with the COO and the team, opening doors at Europe's industrial giants – companies deciding right now how AI agents enter their operations. A product that works, customers that prove it: your job is to turn cold into booked.

In this role, you’ll:
  • Own the dial. Cold calls every day, and you want it that way. The phone is the fastest feedback loop there is – real objections, real reactions, real language in real time. Within weeks, you'll know this market better than anyone.
  • Choose who to call. You own the target list: which industrial enterprises fit the ICP, which accounts to prioritize, which trigger events make now the right moment. Targeting is where pipeline is won or lost.
  • Work the warm pipeline. Trade fairs, webinars, existing relationships – there are real leads waiting to be worked. You decide which ones move first, how to re-engage them, and how to turn interest into a booked meeting.
  • Book meetings that convert. Qualified discovery meetings inside industrial enterprises running complex supply chains – procurement team members, heads of procurement, C-level. Not activity, not dials for the dashboard. Meetings that move ARR.
  • Run the sequences. Cold call, LinkedIn, email cadences: you execute them relentlessly, spot what lands, and feed it back so the messaging gets sharper every week.
  • Feed the market back to the company. What you hear on calls becomes how the company positions, what it builds, and who it goes after next. Every objection is a signal.
  • Grow past the role. Shadow discovery today, run it tomorrow, close after that. The path from BDR to owning deals is real here, and how fast you walk it is up to you.
Your Profile:
  • 0–2 years of experience, ambition off the charts. Grit, hunger, and the will to be top 1% at something – a national-level athlete, a founder who built something real, a track record of outworking everyone in the room.
  • First commercial exposure. You've sold, fundraised, or negotiated in some form: sponsorship acquisition for a student org, a working student sales role, a small venture of your own. Formal sales experience is not required, but you can show where you've won people over.
  • Strong communicator with presence. You build rapport quickly on the phone and hold your own with experienced professionals. Your energy is consistent from the first conversation of the day to the last.
  • Resilient by disposition. Cold outreach means constant rejection. You keep the quality of your conversations high through the hundredth no and treat every one as market intelligence.
  • Growth mindset. Call reviews are where you get better, and you actually want the hard feedback. You improve week over week, and it shows in your numbers.
  • At least C1+ German (our buyers are Mittelstand manufacturers), solid professional English on top.

Please note that this position is based in Berlin

Benefits and Perks:

Our client offers a competitive compensation package with meaningful equity.

Additionally, you'll:

  • Operate with high ownership and fast customer feedback from day one
  • Work in an AI-first, builder environment – the best tools, low overhead, strong bias to ship and learn
  • Join an experienced founding team of serial and second-time founders
  • Collaborate with top-tier investors and angels, including unicorn founders and leading industry experts
  • Work in-person in a Berlin-Mitte office: high focus, ambitious team, low ego

If you’re eager to join the A11 Ecosystem and shape what’s next, we want to hear from you!
