About the Role

Hey there! Neil here 👋, co-founder and CEO at Conversion. I believe we are building one of the strongest sales teams in the world. The goal is that in 5 years, people talk about the Conversion team the way people talk about the Rippling and Toast sales teams today. What do those teams have in common? Very strong, founder-led sales. I LOVE sales and will be in the weeds with you.

Conversion is in a unique position where all our leads are inbound from word of mouth / GTM-engineered inbound. Members of our growth teams focus 70+% of their days closing and are routinely closing $500k+/mo. Ultimately, I believe the greatest sellers in the world only have 3 common traits in common:

  • They love sales.

  • They know every nook and cranny of the product they are selling. Our job is equally as much to educate as it is to sell. I believe this can be taught but ultimately comes easiest to those very intellectually curious.

  • They work very hard. We work 6 days/week in person and are willing to travel to meet an client at any time.

Responsibilities
  • Own and close full-cycle deals across startups and mid-market accounts

  • Run high-quality demos that clearly show Conversion’s value

  • Prospect new leads and work qualified inbound opportunities

  • Collaborate with product and engineering to tailor solutions to prospect needs

  • Help shape sales collateral and early process, tools, and systems

  • Surface feedback from prospects to inform product and marketing
