About the Job
We’re looking for a motivated Founder’s Associate (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and support its go-to-market strategies.
In your day-to-day work, you’ll ensure that our portfolio company’s business-critical services are optimised and get the opportunity to contribute to various projects.
Join our portfolio company: Founded in 2021 with its HQ in Berlin/Germany, the company runs a trailblazing marketplace that redefines one of the largest supply chains on earth. The company’s mission is to unlock the vast potential of cross-border supply for the Western Market by providing global access to high-quality products through their innovative platform. Since the launch in January 2022, the firm has operated discreetly with no public profile or media coverage while it has already successfully served hundreds of companies.
In this role, you’ll:
- Business Development and Sales: Identify and explore potential partnerships, collaborations, and growth opportunities for the company. You will initiate and take full ownership for strategic and operational projects and drive them forward proactively
- Go-to-market Strategy: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats in the industry. Provide insights and recommendations to guide decision-making.
- Operational Support: Assist in day-to-day operational tasks, including project management, team coordination, and resource allocation.
- Team Building: Play a role in building and nurturing a high-performing team by participating in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement activities.
- Cross functions: Act as a liaison between different teams (Operations, Procurement) ensuring effective communication and alignment of goals. Be a sparring partner for the Leadership team for strategic and operational decisions and projects
Your Profile

Bachelor's degree or Master ́s degree in Business or a related field

First experience in a highly competitive environment such as Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Venture Capital or a high-growth startup

Interested in and passionate about growth startup and to change a traditional industry together with an international team

Strong analytical and communication skills

Hands-on mentality - only the implementation satisfies you

Ability to speak directly with customers, suppliers, partners, and investors, and take the initiative to get involved
Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work in the EU is required.
