As our first Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you won't be building sandbox toys. You will deploy production-ready AI agents that handle thousands of real conversations across 160+ countries and 60+ languages. You will own the technical lifecycle- from the pre-sales prototype that wins the deal, to the deep post-sales integrations that turn our global customers into AI-first companies.

- High-Impact Visibility: Sitting at the intersection of AI and GTM, your successful deployments will directly unlock MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) and drive company-wide growth.
- End-to-End Implementation: Partner with Account Executives to build working AI prototypes that close deals, then design, build, and deploy the deep technical integrations (APIs, webhooks, Make/n8n) required to connect the AIVA to customer CRMs and helpdesks in production.
- AI Configuration & Tuning: Configure and continuously optimize the AI Agent by tuning prompts, defining intents and actions, building edge-case guardrails, and optimizing latency metrics to ensure high-quality, natural conversations with zero delay and no hallucination.
- Drive Pipeline & MRR: Partner directly with AEs, Channel Managers and CSMs to own top-line adoption metrics (e.g., AIVA MRR, AIVA Usage). You will slash time-to-first-value and actively help generate pipeline and upsells within existing accounts.
- The Product Feedback Loop: Take the messy edge cases you solve in the field and work with our core Engineering team to turn your custom "hacks" into scalable, native product features.
- Peer-to-Peer Guidance: The FDE is a deeply technical builder who will fully set up their own API integrations and automations. They will only reach out to the Tech Consulting team for high-level advice, system architecture guidance, or core telephony escalations; treating TCs as respected peers, not as an implementation helpdesk.
- Experience: 3+ years in a hybrid technical/commercial role (e.g., Solutions Engineering, Technical Implementation, or ex-founder).
- Integration Mastery: Deep expertise wiring up systems using REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON, and low-code orchestrators (Make, n8n, Zapier).
- CRM Ecosystems: Hands-on experience mapping custom data and building workflows in platforms like HubSpot and Salesforce.
- Light Scripting: Ability to write quick Python or JavaScript snippets to transform data payloads when low-code tools hit their limits.
- Practical AI Chops: Proven experience building workflows with LLMs, including prompt tuning, setting context windows, and building guardrails against hallucinations.
- Commercial Drive: High ownership and the communication skills to translate complex technical blockers to a non-technical VP of Sales or an irate customer.
- POC-to-Production Conversion Rate: The percentage of custom pre-sales AI prototypes you build that successfully convert into closed-won, fully signed and deployed contracts.
- Time-to-First-Value (TTFV): The total number of days from contract signature to the AI Voice Agent running live in production and successfully handling its first 1,000 billable AI minutes.
- AIVA Minutes & AI Revenue: The month-over-month growth of actual AI voice consumption and the resulting expansion MRR generated by unlocking new automated workflows within your deployed accounts.

❌ Running QBRs & Chasing Renewals: You are a builder, not a traditional CSM. While your technical work directly drives MRR, you won't spend your days building slide decks for QBRs or haggling over license renewals.
❌ Throwing Demos Over the Fence: You aren't a traditional Pre-Sales Engineer who builds a flashy sandbox, gets the signature, and walks away. You own the messy reality of making your POC actually work in production.
❌ Handling commercials, pricing, or contract negotiations.
❌ Acting as a pure software engineer.
