About the Role
We’re hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to deliver customer-specific integrations and features for doctors, hospitals, and enterprise health clients.

- Build SDKs, connectors, and custom features that scale with our product vision
- Prototype and deliver integration solutions that resolve technical blockers during pre-sales.
- Contribute production-grade code, with most work landing in the core platform
- Write clear technical documentation, implementation guides, and API references
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Pre-Sales teams
- Work to customer schedules across Australia, UK, and UAE
- Occasional travel for key accounts or integrations (~2–3 times/year)
- Daily collaboration with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, Engineering, and Integration teams
Key Skills
- Strong coding skills in TypeScript and JavaScript
- Bonus: familiarity with C#, PHP, Java
- Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs and webhook-based systems
- Application-focused developer with baseline skills in AWS and networking
- Understands OAuth, token-based auth, and secure integration practices
- Experience or interest in healthcare data standards (e.g. HL7, FHIR, MLLP) is a strong plus
- Awareness of data residency and privacy concerns in regulated sectors
Responsibilities
- Help us close large enterprise deals by building trust with customer stakeholders
- Shipping tailored integrations, and guiding technical solutioning that aligns with our core platform
- Success means being a technical force-multiplier reducing deal friction and accelerating time-to-value for new enterprise customers
At Lyrebird, you won’t just write code — you’ll help shape the future of the human experience.
If you want to pioneer, to create, and to see your work touch lives directly, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re building a team that reflects the diversity of the people who’ll benefit from our work. We want Lyrebird to be a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and able to thrive. If you’re from an underrepresented background in tech, we especially encourage you to apply — even if you don’t meet every single requirement.
