Forward Deployed Engineer, New Business Unit

About the role:

We're building a new business unit and hiring our first Forward Deployed Engineers to join the founding team. You’ll work closely with customers to deploy into real workflows, integrate with their existing systems, and continuously optimize our AI solutions based on what drives measurable impact. This is a high-velocity, high-impact role that will revolutionize the $1T+ global insurance market.

About you:

• Strong full-stack experience: comfortable coding in different languages and platforms.

• Experience with modern AI stacks (LLMs, VLMs, ASR/TTS, vector stores, orchestration, evals).

• Excellent communication skills across technical and operational audiences.

• Thrive in high-ownership environments: minimal process, fast iteration and shipping is your default.

We set our salary ranges using compensation data from companies similar to our stage and size. For this role, the estimated salary range for this position is $144,000 - $240,000. The actual base salary will vary depending on multiple factors unique to each candidate, including location, job-related knowledge, transferable skills, work experience and our assessment of your level during the interview process. Nirvana offers equity for all full-time employees, which is not included in the range listed above and will have an impact on your overall compensation.
