Partners with senior leadership on portfolio strategy and diversification. The role requires an established insurance network, program origination experience, strong communication, hands-on execution, and comfort using AI for research and pipeline development.

Develops and launches new commercial insurance programs by sourcing market opportunities, building relationships with reinsurance brokers, fronting carriers, MGAs, and underwriting leaders, and securing capacity partners. The role manages opportunities from initial introduction through launch, builds business cases, and supports portfolio strategy across multiple insurance lines. Success requires an established insurance network, experience originating or launching programs, strong communication, hands-on execution, and at least seven years of relevant experience.

Owns the finance function for Nirvana Insurance Services, including FP&A, accounting close, ASC 606 revenue recognition, premium trust funding, reinsurance economics, agency agreements, audits, and board reporting. Serves as the financial partner to business-unit leaders, builds shared financial processes and reporting, oversees Accounting and FP&A teams, and hires and leads a small finance team.

Own the roadmap and execution for core pricing, risk, and AI platform foundations across the insurance policy lifecycle. Partner with customers, brokers, underwriters, engineering, data science, actuaries, and go-to-market teams to prioritize problems, shape product direction, make technical decisions, and deliver products on aggressive timelines. The role requires quantitative strength, strong communication, cross-functional leadership, and experience working in high-growth environments.

Design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure platform: Terraform-based provisioning, CI/CD (GitHub Actions) for a monorepo, internal AI agent tooling, observability, security controls, and developer productivity tooling. Own end-to-end platform projects, participate in on-call and postmortems, partner with internal engineering teams, and drive adoption of secure-by-default paved roads.
